The Five Steps

Every job, the same five steps

Whether you're replacing a single slab or pouring a new commercial parking lot, the workflow is identical — so you always know what to expect, who's on-site, and what happens next.

  1. Phone on a desk — direct line to the in-house scheduling team
    01
    5–10 minutes

    Step 01 of 05

    Free Consultation

A real person, not a call center

Call us or fill out the form on /contact and you'll reach our in-house scheduling team — never an overseas call center. We listen to what you're trying to accomplish, ask about your timeline and budget, and book the on-site visit.

    • Same-day callback during business hours
    • We answer your questions before booking — no commitment
    • Multiple scheduling options including evenings & Saturdays
    • Spanish-speaking team members available
  2. Construction lead inspecting a job site
    02
    30–45 minutes

    Step 02 of 05

    On-Site Inspection

We measure twice so you pay once

A senior crew lead walks the site with you to verify soil conditions, drainage slope, existing structures, root proximity, access points, and any code constraints. This is also where we listen — your finish preferences, color palette, and aesthetic goals shape the quote.

    • Probe soil for expansive clay & water-table issues
    • Measure square footage, slope, and elevation changes
    • Identify utility lines, tree roots, and access challenges
    • Photograph the site and existing conditions for our records
  3. Itemized written estimate document with pencil
    03
    Delivered in 48 hours

    Step 03 of 05

    Detailed Written Quote

Itemized, in writing, within 48 hours

You receive a written, itemized estimate — not a one-line napkin number. Materials, labor, equipment, permits, demo, haul-off, sealer, and warranty terms are all broken out so you can compare apples-to-apples with any other bid.

    • Materials by line item (mix design, rebar, fiber, sealer)
    • Labor and equipment hours separated
    • Permit pull-through cost (we handle the paperwork)
    • Payment schedule and timeline in writing
  4. Concrete crew pouring and finishing fresh concrete
    04
    1–5 days on most jobs

    Step 04 of 05

    Professional Execution

Engineered specs, in-house crew, on schedule

Once you sign, our licensed crew handles every phase: permit pull, demo and haul-off, sub-base prep and compaction, forming, rebar or mesh placement, pour, finish, control joints, and cure. No subcontractor chains — the team that quoted is the team that pours.

    • 4,000 PSI mix engineered for Sacramento heat cycles
    • Rebar reinforcement (not just wire mesh) on every slab
    • Saw-cut control joints — not tooled — for crack control
    • Daily clean-up and job-site protection of your property
  5. Finished home with new concrete driveway
    05
    20–30 minutes

    Step 05 of 05

    Final Walkthrough

Not done until you sign off

After cure, we walk the finished work with you punch-list in hand. We don't consider the job complete until you've inspected every edge, joint, and corner — and we leave you with care instructions plus your written 2-year craftsmanship warranty.

    • Punch-list inspection together — fix anything on the spot
    • Sealer & curing instructions for the first 30 days
    • Written 2-year craftsmanship warranty document
    • Direct line to your crew lead for any future questions

Our written promise

Every commitment below applies to every job — in writing.

What We Promise · What We Never Do

The standards that run every project

These aren't pitch lines — they're the rules our crew operates under, and they hold across every job, big or small.

  • Free, no-pressure on-site estimates

Every quote is free, no trip fee, and you'll never get follow-up sales calls.

  • Itemized, written quotes in 48 hours

Materials, labor, permits, and warranty in writing — never verbal-only.

  • Same crew quotes and pours

Your project lead is on-site for both inspection and execution.

  • No subcontractor surprises

We don't dispatch unknown crews. Every pour is our in-house team.

  • No high-pressure sales tactics

No "sign today for X% off." Take a week — the price stands.

  • No vague "ballpark" numbers

If a contractor won't put it in writing, walk away.

Process FAQ

What homeowners usually ask

Questions specific to how we run jobs — scheduling, permits, weather, payment, and warranty.

How long does the full process take from call to finished pour?
For most residential projects, 1–2 weeks from initial call to start date. The on-site visit happens within 24–48 hours, the written quote arrives within 48 hours, and once you sign we typically schedule within 5–10 business days depending on weather and crew availability.
Do you pull permits, or do I have to handle that?
We pull every permit. Pricing is itemized in your quote so you know exactly what the city fee was vs. our pull-through charge. Sacramento, West Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, and every metro municipality — we've worked with all of them.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled pour day?
We monitor the forecast for the 48 hours before your pour. If rain is likely, we reschedule — no charge — to the next dry window. Forcing a pour through rain compromises strength and finish, and we won't do it.
Do I have to be home during the work?
Only for the consultation and the final walkthrough. During the pour days, you're welcome to be on-site or not — we coordinate access ahead of time and send daily photo updates if you're away.
What's covered under your 2-year craftsmanship warranty?
Any cracking beyond normal hairline shrinkage, settling, spalling, or finish failures caused by our workmanship. Hairline cracks from normal concrete shrinkage are not warrantied because they're a property of the material, not the install — we'll fully explain the difference at walkthrough.
Can I pay in stages instead of all upfront?
Yes. Standard schedule is a deposit to secure the schedule, a progress payment when forming and rebar are complete, and final payment on walkthrough sign-off. Larger commercial jobs use AIA-style draw schedules.
